Hi! My name is Coco Bean Chanel. I am a Welsh Springer Spaniel according to my papers, but a lot of people think I look more like an English Springer. You see I was adopted by a wonderful couple on January 1st this year (2007). What a wonderful way to bring in the new year, with new parents. I'm not sure how old I am or what my birthday was but my parents have decided to make January 1st my birthday from now on.
I was very sick when animal control found me and a nice veterenarian (yes there are some nice ones) nursed me back to health and put me in the ESRA (English Springer Rescue Association) foster program until I could find a new permanent home. My foster home was very nice, they had other Springer Spaniels that were show dogs, so I learned a lot from them in a short time, but I wanted my own people to take care of.
My new mom and dad are super nice. They give me lots of love and TOYS and TREATS and I'm their only child, so I get tons of attention, (which I can't seem to get enough of). My dad even gave me a job at his office as an official greeter, he takes me to work everyday so I get to meet lots of new people, and I even get paid with Greenies, they're my favorite.
This is me on my favorite spot to lay while I watch my dad in the kitchen.
This is my dad and me laying in the hamock, I love doing that with my dad and my mom. Hamocks are cool !! My mom and I got this one for my dad for fathers day. I think he really liked it. I got lots of treats.
